Consequences and Inspirations
The international community has a different perception of early years learning, internationally family member typically are baby sitters and learning centers educate. This is foreign concept to the existing working American family.
International contacts have been personally non responsive to questions and insights.
Establishing links to International can damper collegial spirits become in established countries the education system is ranked way higher in national priority.
I hope to continue to try and establish a permanent professional relationship with a colleague from the international community to stay abreast on the educational challenges and success they achieve.
Thanks for a great 8 Weeks!
Hi Haley, I am so sorry you were unable to establish international links. I am able to follow several international blogs thanks to twitter. I don't necessarily communicate with the people, I just like to read what they are up to. I wish you every success for the future and look forward to 'seeing' you in the next course!
ReplyDeleteTake care until then
Hi Haley, I was also unsuccessful in my attempt to make an international contact. Fortunately, we have had Jody, in our class, to keep us informed firsthand of early childhood issues on the other side of the world. I wish you the best as you continue your quest to make other international contacts and as you continue in your educational career. Best wishes, Dianne
ReplyDeleteHi Haley. I too was not successful establishing contact with an international contact. I did find the China's unicef website informative. The podcasts provided insight too. Learning about the international ECE community provided insight that education is a global issue. Many governments and educators around the world what to improve the education standards for children.
